Friends of Sunapee Recreation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing recreational opportunities for the Sunapee, NH community. Our mission is to create inclusive, accessible, and vibrant spaces and programs that bring people together—regardless of age or ability.
We believe recreation plays a vital role in the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents and visitors. From organizing community events like the annual 4th of July Fireworks to advocating for better recreational facilities, we work hand-in-hand with local partners, volunteers, and donors to build a stronger, more connected Sunapee.
In addition to enriching community life, our efforts help boost local businesses and tourism, contributing to Sunapee’s year-round economic health. When we invest in recreation, we’re also investing in our town’s future—one where everyone has the opportunity to play, explore, and thrive..
